WHAT'S THE APCIG FOR ?

The Association Professionnelle des Chroniqueurs et Informateurs de la Gastronomie et du Vin (APCIG), was funded in 1953 under the honorary présidency of Maurice Saillant-Curnonsky, known as the "Gastronom's elected Prince". It is a professional association composed of journalists, writers or other informants in the field of gastronomy and wine-testing.

Item 2 of its statues states :

" The aim of the association is :

Its action extends mainly in France an abroad if needed.
It can thus promote studies and debates with its colleagues from other countries.

The APCIG has more than 300 actives members who work for more than 400 frenchs and foreign medias.
The APCIG also publishes a directory of its members designed for professionals in the field of the communication.
